Work at Sapphire
A small house, a close team.
Six guests at most, one shared table, and time to do the work properly. If that sounds like the place you want to work, we'd like to hear from you.
Six guests. Everyone known by name.
Working here is closer to a home than a ward. You'll know every guest, and they'll know you.
With at most six guests in the house, there's room to notice the small things: who slept badly, who needs a walk before group, who's ready for a harder conversation. The clinical team, the house team and the kitchen work side by side, and talk to each other every day.
The days have a steady rhythm: a morning walk, therapy, a meal together, time with the horses, an evening check-in by the fire. It's calm work, but it isn't easy work, and we look after the people who do it.
Sapphire is a private residential program in Reedy Creek, on the Gold Coast.
The team around each guest.
Different skills, one plan. These are the kinds of roles that make up the house.
The steady, friendly presence through each day, from the morning walk to winding down at night.
Keeping the home running quietly in the background, so every guest walks into a calm, ready space.
One-on-one and group therapy, working together on each guest's individual plan.
Fresh, nourishing meals for the house, and the basics of eating well for life after Sapphire.
Movement, yoga, massage, EFT and equine sessions that help the body settle while the mind does its work.
How we work
What we look for.
Qualifications matter for some roles. For every role, how you treat people matters more.
Respect, always
Every guest is treated as a person first, not a diagnosis or a file.
Privacy is part of care
What guests share stays with the people caring for them. We take that seriously, on shift and off.
Honest and calm
Plain words, steady hands, and no promises we can't keep.
One team
Clinical, house and kitchen staff share what they notice, so nothing important falls between roles.
Lived experience is welcome here
Sapphire was started by someone who has walked the road of recovery, and members of the house team share that experience. If you have your own story of recovery, you're welcome to tell us about it, and you never have to.
Good to know
Roles that involve care will need the checks and registrations that apply to them. We'll tell you exactly what's needed before you apply.
Thank you.
We've noted your interest. When a role opens up that fits, we'll get in touch by email.
