Privacy & your information
Your story stays yours.
This policy is published by Imperial Equity Investments Pty Ltd (ABN 91 682 876 884), trading as Sapphire Recovery.
Last updated: 2 November 2026.
The short version
- We collect only what we need to care for you, and we tell you why.
- Health information is sensitive, so we ask for your consent before collecting it, and use it only for your care.
- Families see nothing unless you choose to share, and you can change that at any time.
- Your care records are kept securely and seen only by the people caring for you.
- You can ask to see or correct what we hold about you.
What we collect
Your name, your contact details, and the health and personal information you choose to give us, whether through a website form, by email, by phone or in person.
Enquiries
When you make an enquiry, we use your details only to contact you the way you chose. Discreet mode means our messages won't mention rehab or recovery. Website enquiries are delivered to our admissions inbox by an email service, Resend, which is based in the United States and holds a copy of each message for a short time. If you'd rather not send health details that way, call us instead.
Services outside Australia
A few services we rely on may store or process your information overseas:
- Resend (United States) delivers website forms to our admissions inbox.
- Google Workspace runs our email inbox. Its servers may be outside Australia.
- Vercel (United States) hosts this website and keeps standard server logs.
When we must share
In rare cases the law requires us to share information without consent, for example to prevent a serious threat to someone's life, health or safety. If that happens, we'll tell you where we can.
